Friends of St Thomas’s

The Friends is a charitable organisation that aims to:

  • raise the profile of the parish,
  • support our services, visitor and education activities, and
  • support the parish in terms of fund-raising for the fabric of the building and its contents.

There is a Friends’ Committee and a group of Trustees which have experts in the relevant fields as well as individuals who represent the wider community of Salisbury.

There is a membership scheme to encourage participation in our work. If you would like to join The Friends, please print and fill in this form. Please return it to The Membership Secretary at the Parish Office.

If you would like to make a one-off donation, please use this link. You can Gift Aid this money if you are a UK tax payer.

The Friends of St Thomas and St Edmund’s Church, Salisbury wishes to host regular events that will be social, cultural or entertainment in nature. If you have any suggestions, please contact us.

We are separate from, but will work closely with the Parochial Church Council (PCC).

Patrons

There are two patrons: Bishop Nigel McCulloch KCVO – a previous rector of St Thomas’s along with our own Reader, Stuart Lucas.
