Brother Paolo is an English member of the Taizé community – world famous for its welcome and challenge to young people of every nation. Taizé draws thousands every week in the summer to spend time talking, listening, worshipping and relaxing together. Each New Year there is a special “European Meeting” - tens of thousands travelled to Poland recently to join in life with the people of the city of Poznan.
On March 13th and 14th brother Paolo will be spending time in Salisbury and is keen to worship with and meet and talk with people from all over the area – especially young people and young adults.
Saturday 13th March, 7.30 p.m. Evening prayer with prayer round the cross in St. Thomas's Church in the city centre (top of the High Street). We meet to sing, to pray and to listen together. There will also be a chance to meet Paolo informally before and after this service.
Sunday 14th March – in St. Thomas's Church 3 p.m open meeting to meet with Paolo, to hear in more detail about Taizé; its life and its work among the young. Find out more about how a week is spent at Taizé in the summer months and also about the work of Taizé around the world.
Come if you can. Bring your friends. Bring your questions.

Rose Petal Day Sunday 4th July
An invitation to ALL, and especially to all newcomers to St Thomas’s, to come to the Family Communion service at 10.15 am. After the service we will gather outside in the Square to witness the annual tradition of rose petals being scattered from our church tower, representing God’s blessings showering down upon our city. Then we will share a celebratory cake, coffee and conversation either in the garden of St. Thomas’s House or in the People’s Vestry. (PS. Please - we shall need lots of dry rose petals .)
