Renovating St Thomas’s – Refreshing the face of a much-loved church
We have done so far:
- Cleaned and restore two of the nave ceiling panels
- Cleaned the bases of the nave pillars
- Cleaned the stonework of the two easternmost arches

A poultice was used to leach out accumulated soiling and stains from the base of the nave pillars

We still need to:
- Renovate and restore the organ case
- Clean the remaining arches in the chancel
- Clean and restore the three remaining ceiling panels
- Clean and restore the ceilings in the north and south aisles
